Colin Fjeld has over 12 years experience as an architectural/ interior/ commercial/ set designer, and visual artist.  With a charming smile and a BFA in Architecture/Minor in Sculpture, He’s made a name for himself designing for the world of Boutique Hotels after getting his start working for Kelly Wearstler on the Viceroy Palm Springs Resort in 2001.

Colin is the creative maverick behind every room and all 80 hand painted murals and cinematic photo-scapes of The Jupiter Hotel, his first solo project which was featured in Dwell Magazine and recently named by Boutique and Lifestyle and Lodging Association as second place winner in Best Boutique Hotel, Internationally.

He boasts an impressive list of credentials having worked for Los Angeles modern design/build firm BUILT Inc; Westfield Corporation’s Design Department; formerly Portland’s most progressive Architecture & Design Firm Sienna Architecture Co.; Interior Designer Karol Niemi; and in Art Departments on commercial projects working with Heidi Klum, Drake, Jay Chou and Mike O’Malley.  He is currently designing Boutique Hotels throughout Southern California.

Colin Fjeld is Art Department ace-card specializing in hand painted murals, interior sketching by hand and digital rendering in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, lighting, color, sourcing materials and tackling projects under major time and budget constraints.  Both his expertise and winning personality make  him any team’s most valuable player.
